Lower energy bills

Use less from the grid.

Energy independence

Store power for when you need it.

Sustainable future

Clean energy for your home.

Incentives

Ask us what support is available for your home.

What we install

The whole system, from roof to consumer unit

One team handles the panels, the battery and the electrics, so there is one person to call and one certificate at the end.

Solar panels

Roof-mounted panels sized to your roof and to how much power you use.

Battery storage

Store spare daytime power and use it in the evening.

Inverters and monitoring

Turn panel output into mains power and see what your system is doing.

EV charging

Add a home charger that works with your system where it allows.

How solar works

From sunlight to your sockets

  1. Step 1

    Panels generate

Sunlight on the panels produces direct current (DC) electricity. Output drops on cloudy days but does not stop.

  2. Step 2

    Inverter converts

The inverter turns DC into the alternating current (AC) your home runs on.

  3. Step 3

    Home, then battery

Your appliances use what they need. Spare power charges the battery.

  4. Step 4

    Evening and export

At night the battery supplies the house before you draw from the grid. Once it is full, spare power can go back to the grid.

Questions

Before you ask for a quote

Can a battery be added to solar panels I already have?
Often, yes. It depends on your inverter and how the panels are connected, so we check your setup first.
Will a battery keep the lights on in a power cut?
Only if the system is installed with a backup supply. Many are not, so ask for it when you request a quote.
Do I need planning permission for panels?
Many homes can fit panels without it. Listed buildings, conservation areas and flats can have extra rules, and we can advise when we see the property.
